More than any other room in the house, bathroom represents a space that takes into account comfort, safety, efficiency and style. There are different types of bathrooms in a given house, such as master bath, full bath and half bath – each with different functionality and form. That represent a huge challenge for designing the bathroom, because each will serve different functionality as noted below.

A master bath is usually attached to the master bathroom and reserved for the owners of the house. There are plenty of ways to design this bathroom. You can make it look luxurious and in accordance with the rest of the elements in the master bedroom or simply use the materials that go well with the house design. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear that there is so much potential when it comes to master bathroom. This is where you can relax at the end of a busy day. And this is where additional features can be installed, such as jetter tub, multiple vanities, designer storage and much else.

Then comes the full bath or the one that is meant for the rest of the family members.
Here, the room should be designed in such a way that it has plenty of storage for towels, laundry and toiletries. This room features at least one shower, sink and toilet and considered as a full bath. The half bathroom, on the other hand, which is also called as powder room doesn’t have much to show except a sink and toilet. It is usually found near common areas and designed mainly for visitors or occasional use. When shower is included, it is referred to as three-quarter bath. Note that there is no rule that says whether or not a shower needs to be incorporated in a half bath. You can fit a small standing shower if the space permits.

One of the issues that needs to be addressed when designing a bathroom is accessibility to each one of the bath types. This issue is not only confined to bathrooms but other rooms connecting to the bathroom as well. Then there is the need to accommodate features to all potential users of these bathrooms. This means designing the bathroom for any individual including those with mobility problems. Designers and architects refer to this concept as “Universal Design”. Its goal is to use products, materials and above all, blueprint, to be usable by all people without the need for further addition or alteration. The goal is also to use the best plumbing system in place from professionals with any plumbing services Las Vegas NV

Of course, no matter what type of bathroom you are creating or redesigning, there is no reason not to include the sense of style according to your taste, needs and budget. It is one of the reasons why you will find plenty of options when it comes to bathroom design. And each bathroom, as mentioned before, has its own form and purpose to service.
